Siddharth Anand’s next directorial venture, Bachna Ae Haseeno, will see
Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba romancing Ranbir Kapoor
Writer-director Siddharth Anand, who is currently directing Yash Raj’s
forthcoming big budget venture Bachna Ae Haseeno, says the Ranbir
Kapoor-starrer will be a total glossy entertainer.
“Just wait and see what comes out. It’s going to be one glossy,
frothy film but with a pure heart in it,” he says. “It will have a
lot of style, lot of charm, lot of visually rich shots and lots of bling.
It’s a total fun film.”
Siddharth adds that he has shot in several international locations to give this
film a visually rich feel.
“It has been a long shooting schedule. We have been shooting 0since
November last year and the entire process has been fruitful. The film will look
nice,” he says. “We have shot from Mumbai to Amritsar to so many
cities and islands in Italy and covered almost the entire Switzerland. The film
will showcase some great visuals.”
Bachna Ae Haseeno has a few sultry women – Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone
and Minissha Lamba – who will step up the oomph quotient. They all will be
seen romancing Ranbir.
“The oomph factor will surely attract the audience. The women are really
gorgeous and they all add serious glam element to the look of the film,”
says Siddharth.
And what does Siddharth think the USP of the film will be? “It has to be
the first look of the film. It will be youthful and classy and then the USP
will shift to the music.”
Siddharth has so far directed two films – Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum
Pum – and both of them have been with the Yash Raj banner. Is there life
outside Yash Raj?
“I’m so much at my home that I don’t want to get out of my
house. They give me so much that I have no complaints,” he signs off.
