SONY BMG Bags music rights for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya, the most awaited and expensive film of this year, has given away its music rights to the No.1 music entertainment company in the world – SONY BMG. Saawariya is the most anticipated movie on the Bollywood circuit, as it not only marks the return of one of the biggest director –Sanjay Leela Bhasali but also awaits the debut of Bollywood's superstar kids, Raj Kapoor's grandson – Ranvir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor's daughter - Sonam Kapoor.

According to industry sources, the music of Saawariya is so extraordinary that Sony BMG's Senior Management team from HONG KONG had to be flown in to acquire the final deal that was being discussed for a long time. Moreover, there were also various discussions with several other music labels before it finally sealed the deal with Sony BMG.

Saawariya will be the second musical blockbuster by Sanjay Leela Bhasnsali after Devdas in 2002. Moreover, with Sony BMG now on board, the excitement for the most coveted musical is just building up!
