Neetu Kapoor's Lobster Thermidor Ingredients

1 large lobster

1 onion finely sliced

2-3 tbsps butter

1 tsp corsely ground black pepper

Salt to taste

For white sauce

1 tbsp flour

1 tbsp butter

1 cup milk

Method for white sauce - In a saucepan heat the butter and add the flour. Saute gently on low flame till roasted. Then add the milk. Mix thoroughly. Ensure no lumps are formed. Fry the chopped onions in butter till they turn pinkish. Then add the choppen onions, salt and pepper to the white sauce.

For the lobster - Immerse the lobster in a pan of boiling water till the skin turns whitish. Then remove the lobster and strain out the water. Scoop out the meat from the shell and keep it aside. Do not discard the shell. Chop the lobster meat and mix it with the sauce. Put the mixture back into the shell and granish with cheese and butter. Serve with garlic bread.
