What the heart desires...

A lot of stories about Ranbir Kapoor’s love life have been floating around lately. Some suggest he's dating Saawariya co-star Sonam Kapoor while other gossip columns have been linking him up with the 'it' girl Deepika Padukone and socialite Nandita Mahtani. However, there seems to be a twist in the tale.

Word is that Ranbir is in fact still in love with his childhood sweetheart who he dated in school for 8 years. Apparently, he really believes in the notion of "love for a lifetime." The fact that he hasn't been able to get over his first love has become a cause of concern for his family; as a result of which they are pushing him to date Sonam Kapoor or any other girl just so that he can get over his childhood sweetheart. They create situations so that he can be near Sonam, even though he seems to be resisting as he just sees her as a friend.

If you ask us, we really hope that the decision is left to the man himself...maybe he just needs a break. Falling in love is more beautiful than being dragged into one. Let love and life take its own course.
