Ranbir at Locarno Film festival

It looks like all our Bollywood couples are heading for foreign shores for some quality time together. While just-married Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan attended one of the international film festivals together, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are heading for the Locarno film festival.

The buzz making the rounds is that Ranbir-Deepika will be holding their engagement ceremony at Locarno itself, on Thursday. Engagement in a foreign country, now what will the Kapoors say to that? Ranbir however, laughs off the rumours and says, "When we actually get engaged, we won't be doing it secretly and that too in a foreign country. It will be in Mumbai and the whole city will be attending it."

The couple complains about not having enough time to spend together. They barely notched up two days in London when they both flew down from their respective shooting locations - Deepika from Bangkok, where she was shooting for Akshay Kumar starrer Chandni Chowk To China and Ranbir from Italy, where he was shooting with Bipasha Basu for Bachna Ae Haseenon. Even in London, the two were attending an awards function and obviously, did not have much time to catch up with each other.

No wonder Ranbir is looking forward to the shoot in Locarno. He says, "It is very satisfying to work with someone as special as Deepika."

When quizzed about Deepika's newest admirer M F Husain, Ranbir says, "I'm not feeling the least bit threatened by this new admirer of hers. He stays in Dubai, doesn't he?"
