Ranbir, A better choice for 'Karzzz': Himesh

Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya, who plays the lead role in the remake of the 1980s superhit "Karz", admits Ranbir Kapoor would have been a better choice for the role and would have ensured the film's box office success. Himesh plays the lead character of Monty,originally played by Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor in Subhash Ghai's musical thriller "Karz".

"Ranbir would have been a better choice as he would have brought success instantly. The film would have been a superhit before its release, but since I'm into the movie, we will have to wait for its release to see how it fares," Himesh told IANS.

Himesh was all praise for Ranbir's acting capabilities in his recently released Bachna Ae Haseeno and said his legacy of acting was unchallengeable.

"I have seen Bachna Ae Haseeno and I found his acting impressive. Acting is in his blood because of his great legacy."

mr.himesh reshamiya you just spoke my mind . if ranbir was in the remake of karz then it would have been a bigger hit than the original . i must also mention that the right choice for kamini would have none other then deepika the love of our ranbir , just because i feel it . the best choice for tina munim's role would have been prachi desai . trust me if make the remake of jarz with cast it would be rocking .

Hi Bir i am 1 of your biggest fans & i loved u both in Sawaariya & BAH u really rocked it :)) keep it up buddy..i would love 2 c u in a remake of your dad's Karz & i think kamini's role should b played by deepika cause she has the evil looks & the other role should b played by Sonam Kapoor cause she has the innocent looks & i really love the chemistry u share with Sonam :)) love 2 c u work with her the most..SONABIR ROCKS & RULES..
