Ranbir-Imran’s lip-lock on KWK

Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan found a unique way of putting an end to the speculation around their cold war by cheating a liplock on Koffee with Karan. The actors ‘lip-locked’ twice on Koffee With Karan to get him to cast them in his iconic film with gay characters. They also used the kiss to encourage KJo to cast them in his Dostana sequel. They demanded that KJo live up to a promise he made to them during an awards show (of casting them in his film). They reminded him that they got an underwear each as a signing token from Karan.

A source who was present during filming says, “They were a riot on the show. They were all over each other and if they have a problem, it didn’t show. To convince Johar that they would be just as compatible on screen, they ended up kissing twice!

Karan was totally taken aback by their madness. After they kissed the first time, the host asked them to do it again as they returned from a commercial break. Without hesitation, they embraced each other and broke into another kiss!” Before the shoot, Ranbir had matched dates according to Imran since the latter was in the middle of a shoot. “It didn’t seem like there was any rivalry between the two. Ranbir graciously adjusted his dates for Imran. They were seen joking and having a long conversation before the shoot.”

Good actors or good friends? We’ll never know.

Ranbir Kapoor has also applauded ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone’s decision of not getting rid of the RK tattoo, after being dumped by Ranbir, that she has got done on the nape of the her neck, reportedly for Ranbir, while they were dating each other. “I have had one of the most wonderful relationships with Deepika that lasted for more than two years. It’s brave of her to keep the RK tattoo intact even after we have parted ways,” says Ranbir on the chat show, Koffee with Karan, hosted by Karan Johar. He, along with Imran Khan, feature on the second episode that will air this Sunday on Star World.

But, while Ranbir is busy appreciating Deepika, the latter is taking pot shots at her ex. Deepika and Sonam Kapoor will be the guests for the show’s third episode. In the show Deepika says that there relationship did not work because, “Ranbir is a cheater.” Sonam, too, concurs, “Ranbir is a terrible boyfriend as he can’t remain faithful, but he can be a very good friend.”

Ms. Padukone goes blue in the face denying that she is upset with her ex Ranbir Kapoor after being dumped by him, the Bangalore beauty drops hints all the time that suggest that she’s actually fuming with RK Junior. Sources say that when she was asked by Karan Johar, on his talk show, which product Ranbir should endorse, she said, “Condoms! He uses them so much!”

Other sources, however, claim that the break up happened not because of Ranbir’s philandering nature but because of Deepika’s over-possessive nature. Deepika confirmed it in an interview with MumbaiMirror that she is possessive. She said, “If my man gives me my security, why would I be possessive? Then I wouldn’t ask him where he is, what he is doing or even who he is with. If my partner is doing things, which betray my trust, then I will become possessive. You become possessive only when you know there’s something going wrong, not just for the heck of it. ” But what she didn’t say was what the insider source claimed. “Deepika was insecure and hysterical. Ranbir was upset becauseof her OCDs and claustrophobic behavior. She used to call up continuously and show up at odd hours at his house, clubs, sets, outdoor shoots, his life had become miserable! She asked for it! The ruckus she created at Bhopal on RK’s outdoor shoot is Bollywood’s best kept secrets! She tends to dominate her man and I have been a witness to that! And yeah she was horribly dumped, and no, RK’s not seeing Kats either!” divulges the insider.

So on one side we have Ranbir saying he’s good friends with Deepika even post the breakup, on the other hand we have Deepika taking some below the belt digs at him. Though she did wish him on his birthday on twitter (before you people get excited, no, Ranbir is not on twitter, we wonder who that wish was meant for then) and had claimed that she hadn’t called Ranbir a cheat in her last interview. So this sudden u-turn by Ms. Padukone does make things curious though anxious minds might relate it to her forthcoming movie releases. We are awaiting for a clarification from both on the matter, though it makes for some really crazy fodder for gossip. Did he or did he not cheat, is she or is she not lying? Maybe KWK has the answers!
